Take over-the-counter pain relievers (avoid aspirin on gums).
Handle the tooth by the crown (top), not the root.
Rinse gently with water if dirty—do not scrub.
If possible, reinsert into socket and hold in place.
If not, place in milk or saliva and bring to appointment.
Get to our office within 30 minutes for best results.

Gently floss to remove any trapped food.
Apply a cold compress to the outside of your cheek.
Take acetaminophen or ibuprofen for pain.
